Please make sure we have your email address on file this year. As we continue to improve the quality of our services to our clients, we are looking to share pertinent information. We will begin corresponding with clients via electronic format.
Happy New Year! I hope everyone had a safe and enjoyable holiday season.
2020 Tax Season Office Hours
This schedule begins on Monday, January 27, 2020, and continues through Wednesday, April 15th, 2020:

Before making an appointment or dropping off your taxes to be prepared, be certain you have a valid Social Security Card for yourself, your spouse and dependents (if applicable). If you have provided the valid Social Security Card in a previous year, you do not need to bring it in again this year unless you have a new dependent. Please be aware that missing or inaccurate information from our clients inhibits our ability to process the return in a timely manner. If the information you provide to us differs from the information available to the Internal Revenue Service (IRS), there may be a delay when the IRS processes your return.
Income taxes are collected on a pay-as-you-go basis either through withholding on wages and pensions or as quarterly estimated payments on other income. Every taxpayer that owed taxes last year (Federal or State) should increase their withholding or make/increase estimated tax payments or you could be penalized.
Please bring in all items received that are marked as “Tax Documents” when having your tax return prepared.
All donations to charity must be substantiated by written documentation and items donated must be in good condition.
The IRS requires that all entries on your tax return have documentation.
Prepayment Option – In order to offer clients additional savings, you have the option of paying for your tax return preparation at your first visit. By paying when you initially drop off your tax papers or at your initial appointment you will receive last year’s price. Just inform us that you want to prepay.
Feel free to contact Ruth, Nancy, Gerri and Len or me should you have any questions.

I am a Registered Tax Return Preparer with the IRS. The IRS is now monitoring paid tax preparers to enhance the quality of tax return preparation services available to the public. The IRS has put in place penalties for tax preparers that do not follow the law.
